Lumino Press

Lumino Press is a full service printing and design company. We specialize in letterpress printing and create unique printed pieces of many kinds for discerning clients.

The Lumino Press is located in an artisan’s studio near downtown Santa Barbara, California. We offer high quality graphic design as well as letterpress printing and bookbinding.

We design and print invitations, stationery, business collateral, presentation materials, as well as books and limited editions prints. In addition to letterpress printing, we offer, in conjunction with our neighbors Graphic Traffic, full service digital printing - both high quality and economically priced.

Lumino Press does highly professional letterpress printing. We operate three different letterpress printing presses to achieve a wide range of production capabilities. A late model Heidelberg windmill press is for larger runs, a Vandercook UNI cylinder press for fine limited edition printing, and a classic Chandler & Price jobbing platen press for short runs of wedding invitations, notecards and envelopes.

As a “book arts studio” the Press is set up to produce books of all kinds: from handbound limited editions to the design of print-on-demand books. We specialize in custom presentation books and boxes for artists, designers, photographers and architects.

The Lumino Press serves a variety of clients, both individuals and businesses, who are seeking printed work of a certain unusual quality and integrity—work that has a unique look and feel that will be appreciated long into the future.
